Thought it would be a nice idea to lie in the sun today, and read Harry Potter. Four hundred pages in, I go inside for some cough medicine and some water, and realise the backs of my legs are bright pink, as is my back, with awful bra strap tan (rather, burn) lines. Work's good, got extra bar shifts this weekend.

Ah, speaking of this weekend, must find Gemma a nice house warming gift. I saw a nice teapot in the Golden Goose, but I don't think she'd ever use it. I thought of a art deco ash tray, but she doesn't smoke, and I'm not sure about her boyfriend, but then that'd be a present for him and not her.

Harry Potter is a lot better than I remember it, although Harry is a bit stupid. It's obviously not Voldemort possessing him, he is just linked to him because of the scar, something I thought was rectified in one of the earlier books. He is well harsh to Cho too, she just wanted a shoulder to cry on fer christs sake!

Must sleep.

Went to Emily's tonight to finish six feet under. I don't think i have quite grasped that it has ended. (Note to self: stop getting so attached to fictional characters) We ate, as eighteen year olds do, Ben & Jerrys ice cream, and drank, as eighteen year olds do, Lambrini. My teeth are going to fall out in due course.

I'm now struck by insomnia, due to, what i can only assume, is my bed time the last few days getting severly later, and my mornings turning into afternoons too quickly.

It rained tonight as I walked home, for the first time in ages! Everything smelled so sweet, my feet got wet though, as well as my cigarette. Serves me right for smoking in the rain, I guess. But needs are needs.

I feel I will abandon my real journal for that of one which others can read. I thrive for attention, obv.

Things to do;

* Hand my uniform back into Center Parcs
* Not spend any more money
* PHONE TAX OFFICE (it's been five months fergawdsakes)
* Quit college (ditto)
* Find a job
* Send off Bath application form
* Check out air hostess school
* Register to vote
* Visit Grandad
* Book driving lessons
* Lose weight
* Don't wallow in ex-boyf land, or any other land come to think of it

The cats I have as my mood are adorable. Even though I tend to despise cats, this one is thinking about something. Why am I drawn to animals with human characteristics? Actually, why is everybody drawn to animals with human characteristics? I think it's alright when you know that they aren't real, but if I saw a cat outwardly thinking in the street, I would wonder, good god, what on earth is this cat thinking? Well? What do cats think about? Fish?

Too much sugary perry I think. 'Night.
